Taking symbionts for a year new blood symptoms

I have been taking symbicort for a year and then began getting broken blood vessels in my skin on my arms and legs.  I am wondering if anyone else has this problem? Dr switched me to dulera but it is twice as expensive

    Hi Lora,

I have taken symbicort for 6 months, and I get bruises on my arms, and they can bleed if I knock them, but I was told it was the Steroids I take.

Thank you, I don't take any steroids other then what might be in the  Symbicort.   I have been switched to dulera for a few weeks now and only have a few red dots left on my lower arms.

I am stage 4 COPD. Have been using Dulera and Siriva for at least a couple years. I like it better than Advair. Easier to use. Feels more effective. Cheaper. I trust this Pulmonologist.

Well today I woke up with some broken blood vessel around my lower arms again so maybe it wasn't the symbicort causing the problem.  Ugg

Are you taking Asprin or any other blood thining drugs?

No I take gabapentin, singular, omeprazole, and now dulera.  I was on simbicort.  I also take a vitamin centrum energy.  I hope it is just maybe the iodine in the vitamin.  That would be an easy solution.
