Hi , I had LP to find out if there was a bleeding in my brain on oct 13th Thursday night. I didn't have headache or neck pain until 24 hrs. Almost after 24 hrs I started getting terrible headache, nausea, neck pain and stiffness. This is my fourth day, I'm just confined to bed. The only time I get up is to use the washroom. I feel nausea, neck stiffness while I lie down too but no headache. I m in tears it just feels like this is my new life. I can't cook , can't feed my kids, can't do anything. Right after 10 mins of the spinal tab doctor said the fluid is clear and results came negative and I'm good to go home. He didn't tell me anything , to rest , pain or don't lift heavy stuff etc. I'm drinking lots of caffeine, completely on bed but the moment I get up , with in 2 - 5 minutes all the symptoms come back. What should I do?

Sorry website keepscrashing on me! he sameearlier this year. You need plenty of fluids and bed rest to restore the spinal fuluid youhad removerd. hen you stand the normal vel protecting your drops and you get the awful headache. Just take car once they stop as lifting and poor posture can give less intense headaches for a time after. It ventually go away. All the best.
