I was taking Sertraline for 16 years

I have suffered all my life from anxiety and obessive over thinking.  I have taken Sertraline for 16 years until my doctor retired.  I found a new doctor who suggested I try Welbrutrin.  Because of my over worrying I wasn't sure if it was working so I asked her if I could go back on the sertraline.  I stopped the wellbrturin 150 mg yesterday and then took 150 mg of sertraline from 100 and I had extreme anxiety and stayed in bed for over 24 hours.  I need to feel better soon or I don't know what I will do.  Does it take a while to feel good on the sertraline again.  I am so sorry I made the switch because it was working and I should have never change because I always over think it and am now a mess. Please help.

Why oh why did that doctor do that?  My psychiatrist just put me on Paxil because Lexapro was not working fo me! I am so sorry that this has happened! Sometimes switching meds causes more anxiety at first I am told and I believe it is true! How long were you on the Wellbrutin? This could be a withdrawal from that? Hope you get some relief soon!
