pain control bad after revision

i had a total knee revision on monday and came home last night, called the doctor today and he said he can not give my anything else, i was on norco before surgery and now he gave me oxycodone 10mg and not touching pain, i was wondering if i need to see a pain specialist

    Talk to your primary care Dr. Many times the are better at covering pain than are surgeons.

    Increase the use of ice. Original or revision, the pain is the same and should be treated accordingly. I was allowed up to 25 mg of oxycodone for the 1st couple weeks after both of my revisions. The script was written for 5 mg tabs and I could use up to 5 every 4 hrs as needed. Be sure and hydrate well, elevate and exercise but dont overdo the strenuous stuff atv11st. Work up to it gradually

    I had the same problem after revision. Tell the doctor I needed more pain medicine after I got home. I was taking 10 every three hours he said I could take 15 every four hours. The 15 really helped.
