TMJ can cause tinnitus, with the latter usually cured with curing of the TMJ.

Yes tmj can cause tinnitus, I have tmj and sinus problems also, and have been experiencing pulsative tinnitus for almost a year now. It has got much better over the months, seems to be worse if I am stressed or anxious, but on the whole it is ay an acceptable level now.

I find for both sinus and tmjm holding a hot water bottle against my face, really helps, relaxes the tight muscles, and trying to drop you lower jaw continually also helps, just practice keeping your teeth apart.

For the sinus, I find a saline nasal spray is useful, can buy in any chemist, use several times a day, and sit up slightlywhen sleeping,

I saw the tmd maxiallary surgeon he made a new mouth splint, wownthis tmd is annoying. Making a mess for me. I have been noticing they make a new kind of mouth splint just in the front to relieve all pressure on the back but i dont know anyone who has tried this. If anyone has please let me know if its better or doesnt it just create new found oains in a different location,

I have found heat works ro relax the jaw muscles, I wrap a hot water, bottle in a damp, cloth, and hold it against my jaw. Make the hot water bottle quite hot, an

d hold it on both sides for as long as poss, also hold it on your scalp behind the ears and at back of head. Try during the day to hold your mouth so the teeth are slightly apart and them bottom jaw is relaxed, you will probabaly need to remind yourself ahout this several times a day.

I find doing this helps me. Still have the pulsative tinnutis but much much quieter. X

I have found arnica helpful. And replace mouthpiece at times. I clench so hard it makes markes and ruins them.  They have tmd message stuff but i cant a person who does it. Just in the web. One of the tmj specialist i saw last year called botox vodoo medicine and would never do it in herself so i steer away from that. She has it too,
