Having been suffering severe anxiety and insomnia for few weeks

I was prescribed 50mg sertraline for anxiety .having just taken my first dose today i m already ferling a bit nauseous and whoozy and tired within a few hours.i wasn,t ecpecting side effects so sudden and so strong.any advice from people that have experienced this drug would be appreciated.thankyou

    Hi Cathy, this is completely normal. It will get worst before it gets better. Stay strong, hang in there, and be gentle with yourself.

    Hi Cathy, sorry you are not feeling good. How are you feeling now? I have been on sertaline for 30days now and my dr said it would get worse before it got better and that's true. I have suffered terrible side effects but have been getting some good days do I know it's starting to work. Just got to take one day at a time. Stay positive you will get through it xxx

    Keep going u'll maybe want to stop but please done 14 days and u should start seeing better bits
