Hello Robert, I'm Luke I'm 27 from England. Ok just want to say I've had similar problems for ten years. I've had ECG on 2 sepparate occasions due to the same symptoms you've mentioned to us. The way I try and look at this problem now is too try not to think about it. You have been tested and all is "healthy" I understand you have anxiety and this makes the situation 10x worse as I still witness it myself to this day mate, like I say mate, just try take 10 deep breaths and imagine that when this happens your not alone and that many others feel this uncomfort like myself. If all else fails then persist with your doctor and tell him you would like further tests or answers but in the mean time just try and relax buddy! Good luck. Luke.

Can you afford to buy a  fitbit, have seen some stories recently you can find them on the internet, where Dr's said nothing wrong proven wrong by high end fitbit, recording on fitbit of heartbeat ended up answering questions about what was going on. A couple of cases here in Australia, theirs was and electrical problem with the heart.

ECG will show if you have problems especially if read by a cardio specialist, so

i'm inclined to think it may be anxiety, why would you waste your money on more than two cardologists if they both come back with same opinion, nothing going on.

Husband suffers from heart failure or dialated cardiomyopathy, his was caused by a virus the Dr's think.

He got sick very quickly, his GP said there was nothing wrong but cardio was shocked when she saw ECG and said GP is wrong, there is something going on here, and did an immediate echocardiogram which showed the dialated cardiomyopathy, a serious case, even she pointed out a x-ray would have shown hugely enlarged heart, admitted to heart hospital the following day and treated with medications, 6 years almost to the day he is doing well.

    Hi Robert,

I have similar symptoms as you do. My heart does weird stuff and it's hard to explain it to doctors because I've never had them before. I get fluttering and sometimes a flip-flop sinking feeling. I too get lightheaded and weak. I am also homebound, quit my job and scared to leave my house unless I have someone with me. Afraid I will drop dead or something. They say exercise helps but when I walk my heart feels weak and i am exhausted and I'm only 36. I ended up in ER a few times only to be sent home because they didn't find anything life threatening. Been getting alot of headpressure, headaches, and shortness of breath lately. I did 4 kge all came back normal. I just did 48h Holter monitor now waiting to do echocardiogram. Hope things are getting better for you, stay positive. I am anxiously waiting for results. Take care

Hi Robert, I've come across these discussions by chance because I'm a member of the atrial fibrillation forum on Patient Forum. I suggest that with your experiences give them a try and I'm sure you will receive some helpful advice.

    Good luck.
