Blood clots

For the passed 2 days I've had blood at every bowel movement! And the last few have been clots! Should I be worried? No pain and don't feel ill just blood!

    Have you had diverticulitis?  I would definitely call a doc though.

      Yes I do have diverticulitis x on way to hospital for an appointment

      I've been to the hospital this morning and they don't seem overly concerned! Going to ring my dr tomorrow and ask for another colonoscopy asap as I'm still bleeding with every bowel movement

      I've read that a diverticula can bleed.  I don't think they will do a colonoscopy if you have active diverticulitis though -  risk of peforation in the infected area.  Actually during all colonoscopies, there is a slight risk of perforation.

      I've stopped bleeding now which a relief x just going to wait to see my consultant when I receive the letter x
