Crippling hypothyroidism flare ups

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi, i feel really overwhelmed at times.

My thyroid levels on the whole are pretty stable but every so often i hit rock bottom. My levels will completely crash, i'm left a sobbing mess. I have no energy even to talk. I can barely lift a fork to eat even though i feel starving hungry. I'm in my early forties and healthy but when my levels drop i'm left almost in a locked in state of mind. i rely on my family to take over, get me up the stairs and sometimes get me ready for bed. its a real sad state of affairs and i feel so useless and frustrated with myself.

Does anyone else have these severe complications as well as all the others. I read up on thyroid issues after every flare up trying to make sense and understand it.

Any help or advise so appreciated.
