I have recently been diagnosed with Divertculitis which causes me severe diarrhoea and pain. I cannot keep taking Imodium as I have chronic kidney disease. I am trying to change my diet and would welcome any advice about how to cope with this problem.

Hi Judith, i have also just been diagnosed with this, had my colonoscopy last Saturday which was fine, since Wednesday I have not stopped going going to the toilet, have tried liquid only diet which isn't doing much, have a slight ache in lower left side but not too bad, I have read all the info I can find but no one seems to know how long to do liquid diet, not eaten much in nearly a week now, did you have this too?
