Diverticulitis acute episode with micro perforation

hello I've just had an episode and was hospitalised no surgical intervention I've read on the internet and found it useful but wondered if anyone could share there experiences i had similar pain previously 2-3 times over the last 6 months now worried it will happen again and ultimately be more pain or urgent than this let alone the pain that was horrendous many thanks for reading and i look forward to any experience you can share
