Ive had awful constipation and lower right pelvic pain for 3 months. Just had a colonoscopy and diagnosed with diverticulitis. Nothing is helping!! Tried fybrogel, buscupan etc. Help, and suggestions?

Hi JANE, D.D and constipation do NOT make good friends So take yourself off to the Chemist , a good one ,and buy yourself a Bottle of LACTULOSE solution .It's like your fairy godmother in a bottle ..
Read the instructions ,do NOT take too much ,there is a measuring thingy with it I always keep a bottle in the bathroom ,and if I go over a day without shifting the rubbish ,I take a dose . The constipation will be causing you pain ,so ,get rid of the poo ,get rid of the pain ,
