Drinking and Methotrexate: Side Effects

I know that on Methotrexate it is advised to reduce alcohol intake due to it causing a higher risk of liver complications. However having been on Methotrexate for 3 years now, I have started to recognise that when I do drink more I tend to suddenly get really drunk, erratic and emotional and that my hangovers are drastically worse. I know this can be the case for other medications so I was wondering if this is a known side effect of the drug or if other people feel the same thing?

Of course this is more of a reason to reduce alcohol consumption if so, however I just want to understand if it's my low tolerance for alcohol or mental health vs. general methotrexate side effects?
