Hello everyone, I started Escitalopram 5mg recently for treatment of severe depression and anxiety. This is my 5th antidepressant now after stopping fluoxetine which I was on for ten years and had a relapse. My doctor and I found that I’m super sensitive to the drugs so I’m still trying to find what works.

I’m on my 7th tablet so not far in and side effects aren’t great. Racing chest, insomnia, a lot of panic and paranoia, stomach problems and just feeling generally unwell. Was given Clonazapam to help them but it doesn't do much aside from make me super dopey. The upside is that my depression doesn’t seem to be worsening it’s just the anxiety that’s horrible. I know I haven’t took that many so would love to know other people’s experiences on the drug, I’ve been desperate for a while for some light to come through but it’s just wondering how long the awful parts will last and never knowing what’s going to be the right one!

    same for me i dont know what to do next all SSRIs make me feel awfull
