Facet joint

i have facet joint atrophy and currently have the most unusual feeling in my lower spine, it feels like something is pushing or getting stuck just slightly to the left of my lower middle back, sometime with a bit of pain and tingling. my doctor wants me to have a spect scan done so i have booked it in. does anyone ever have this funny sensation. its really scary. he thinks it may a inflamed facet. i get sore around my hips and buttock area too if i stand or walk around to much also. this feeling is so odd and very very uncomfortable and i cant even lay down as it makes it worse so i have been sleeping in my chair.
