Fast resting pulse, high hematocrit low ferritin

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi. I am a 40 year old female, my recent blood work shows I have high hematocrit and low ferritin, with everything I am reading these seem to contradict each other because low ferritin means I should have a low red blood cell count. My iron level is normal, at 100, which is much higher than it normally is. I do have a history of having low levels, but I believe this is my first time having my ferritin tested. Also, probably completely unrelated, but my resting pulse is on the high side, around 90-95 and has been for atleast a year.
