Folliculitis-type rash won’t respond to antibiotics

I've suffered with a Folliculitis type rash down my neck and chest for 7 months, and treatment provided hasn't got rid of it.

My GP said it looked like Acne so prescribed lymecycline which i've been taking for around 4 months with no changes.

I've tried fungal creams and these also haven't worked.

Has anyone experienced something similar? or know what course of treatment I need to take?

I read that it may be caused by bad bacteria in the liver, but how do I treat this?

I would appreciate any insight on this - I'm becoming desperate!
