Gaining weight increasingly fast on topiramate when before I was losing

Hi Everyone! 

I'm wondering if anyone has experience this before.. I've been taking 100 mg of topiramate for about 9 months now. Up until recently I experienced the weight loss side effects, along with a bit a confusion and occasionally could not come up with a word I was looking for. Now I'm gaining weight like crazy, my head is super foggy and it's really hard for me to concentrate on any of my work. I also am super forgetful, even simple tasks at work i'll forget to get done. Has anyone experienced this? It's weird... all of a sudden the drug just had this flip to the opposite side effects even though there was no change in my dosage..

    I initially went from 138 to 104 when I started topamax 13 years ago. Then I leveled off at about 114 for years. Now I am at 119 and have been for about 2 years. The topamax has not helped my headaches in about 4 years and I think I am most afraid of gaining all the weight back. However the side effects are so awful that I need to get off of it.
