Blood tests revealed high inflammation SED rate. With other symptoms, shoulder, neck and head pain, headaches, painful scalp, I was put on 50 mg Prednisone per day. I'm scheduled for a biopsy of the temporal artery. The Prednisone is creating havoc - severe and constant diarrhea, dry mouth, insomnia. The pain has substantially declined but these side effects are really bad. Any hints or suggestions? Thanks
