Gilbert syndrome, SYMPTOMS GOT WORSE

Firstly anyone with Gilbert's syndrome will know that everyone doctor tells you it comes with no symptoms, what a LIE!

i got diagnosed when i was 11 years old i am now 20. all these years i have manage very well with it, yes sometimes iv had what i call and 'episode' where something has trigged me to feel so sick, shake and feel weak, normally these episodes would happen at night (god knows why) but i would say i never got more than 2 epsiodes a year. untill now!

a couple of months ago something triggered my symptoms really bad! i had an epsiode 5 times a month for about 3/4 months, i went to a specialist and doctors just to see if something else was going on but everything was completely fine and they literally said it could be my gilbert's but couldnt wrap there head around it as they think they have no symptoms!

long story short, i started to feel back to normal again and it had been 2 months since constantly feeling sick and tired but this weekend i had another episode i think i ate to much fatty food (my fault) but now i cant shift the feeling again and its been a week! DOES ANYONE HAVE AN SUGGESTIONS HOW TO GET BACK TO NORMAL AFTER SOMETHING HAS TRIGGERED THERE SYMPTONS ?

AND GIRLS/WOMEN DOES ANYONES GET WORSE DUEING MENTRAL CYCLE OR BEING ON COMTRACEPTION ?

sorry to hear of your " episodes".

    My main trigger is stress.

    Solutions?? Time,calm, diet.

Suggestion-read a good treat your own liver book. I think it covers your specific question.

    V best wishes!

      eek!! Triggers??

Cinnamon is not good for me.

Some spices are another for some. But people vary. See on this site what sets people off.

But stress is numero uno for me!

Good luck! let me know if you find yours!

I always found flushing water through me helps (I drink at least 4 litres a day). I would look for other answers just in case, after years of fatigue getting slowly worse each year I have since found out that I have Lyme disease, mycoplasma and heavy metal toxicity, so I don’t know what symptoms are from what now. I’m male so I can’t help you with the second part of your question but if you have a copper IUD for contraception there have been issues with these leaching copper into the body.
