Has anyone had discomfort due to improving their posture??

Hi, I’ve been trying my best to improve my posture, due to scoliosis and kyphosis, by keeping my chin/neck back, to improve my forward head and also keeping my elbows back to improve my rounded shoulders. I think from doing these corrections I am causing discomfort in my right rib cage (especially), etc. Has anyone experienced this...it’s so frustrating, I’m trying to improve my posture but it’s causing discomfort. Thank you!

    Hi Paullie,

    Yes I get the same thing but in my left ribs usually. I find the exercises that I do can aggravate other areas or make things worse, but with perseverance things always get better overall. I suppose when we try and correct one area it makes another out of line.
