head pressure/ tension headache

Basically I have constant pressure in my head that makes me so nauseous and drowsy. It is very uncomfortable makes me wanna just faint. my brain MRI was normal and I went to a neurologist and he gave me muscle relaxant and antidepressants that made me worse. I went to the emergency room and they didn't help they gave me Fioricet (Butalbital, Acetaminophen and caffeine) it helps but doesn't cure the issue. I'm scheduled to see a new neurologist tmw I hope I find a solution Bcse it's been 6 months since I'm suffering with this condition

What are they saying is the cause of your condition Sami if your brain scan was normal ?You couldn't be expected to keep going like that. Are you otherwise healthy?

they still don't know what triggers this constant pressure. they told me it might be from my eyes, back , neck and still have to rule out many things in the process

Probably best to insist on continuous tests then and try get to the bottom of it. Hopefully the mri has ruled out the big issues ....so that in itself may be of some consolation to you in the interim period.

most doctors tend to just call it anxiety and let u suffer from the side effects of the medications. the pressure in the head could be caused by several things eyes ears nose head(brain) back neck. any abnormality in the previously mentioned locations are or is causing the pressure. Obviously each specialist has no idea about other specialities so they keep trying meds on u till u just give up. some patients find the issue after doing MRI in the back or neck, some after doing lumbar puncture, some in the eye, ear infection, while some it just goes away by itself. u have to keep reading and educate urself and don't focus on one area just attack all areas. I did that and now I'm hoping it is what I think it is. I'm all day on the computer and microscope so I suspect it caused by my eyes Bcse I never went to an eye doctor in my life I think that's why it is not getting any better today I'll see what is gonna happen with me and reply to u guys

not yet vng and eng will determine what is the cause and if it is caused by an inner ear infection I'll get the results back on Tuesday. but meclizine and ear drops are helping me to get back to normal
