Headaches and stinging pain/aches throughout body help me it's been over a month now!

Hi everyone, I am a 27 year old male who up until 6 weeks ago was in great physical shape. I started to get a headache and classic migrane symptoms that would not go away and would come back every 5 to 10 minutes. It has since progressed to full body aches and stinging nerve pain theoughout my body. The weird thing is no pain happens at the same time, it is either a headache or a pain somewhere in my body.

This has made me unable to work and ruined my life. I have been to a neurologist/primary care/psychologist/orthopedics specialist/chiropractor/ and physical therapy. On top of that I have had every scan and blood test done under the sun to rule anything out. At this point my doctors still have no answers for me and my problem isnt getting any better. I have no past drug use and I dont drink. At this point my doctors have put me on magnesium/b2/fishoil/multivitamins to try and help but to no avail. I also take .25mg of xanax at wake up and night(over a year now), along with welbutron low dose since all this started.

The onlt relief i seem to find is when I am laying in a hot tub filled to the top. If anyone has any suggestions or similar problems please help!

You my need to check with your Neurologist. You may be suffering from fibromyalgia. No cure but there is relief. I was dianosed also with that 6 years ago. Mine is not enough for magor medication but I get some relief with Ibuprohen when I need it.

i also take the xanax. .25 in the morning and .25 at bed time.(NOT ER) I am also on Nortriplyne 25mg at night only. I far fairly well with that combination. I am not a fan of welbutron. I don't like any medicine my grows a tolerance to. Good luck in gertting off it. You better do it gradually it will make you feel terrible if you do it cold turkey.

Thanks for your reply, I asked my doctor anout that and they were hesitant about thinking it was fibro..they said they dont belive that fibro is a "real disease" They tried perscribing me Cymbalta at first for a nwrve blocker and antidepressant, but after one dose I had horrible thoughts and that actually made me depressed more..they have prescribed me gabapentin300mg at night but I am scared to take anything now that the cymbalta scared the hell out of m

MY doctor tried me on gabapentin and Cymbalta. I could not handle it. I will not try anything that will give me suicidal thoughts or bad thoughts.      Fibromyalgia may not be a disease but as for me it sure is there. Get them to try you on the weakess form of medicine for it. Your body may be like mine. It does not like medicine.

Like I stated earlier the Nortriplyne helped after having headaches for 2 years. Ask you neurolist about it. It worked for me. Hope it will work for you.

Sorry to hear you're hurting! This is not similar to my symptoms but I want to say get another opinion. The fact that your docs don't believe fibromyalgia is "real" is a red flag. With three million cases diagnosed yearly by reliable clinics like Mayo and great treatment options available you need to move on.  No disrespect to doctors but they are human and have limitations. I had a deadly melanoma misdiagnosed as a nail fungus for 14 months and recently a brain cyst the first doc reading my CT scan said go home and get a new pillow. Advocate for yourself by politely seeking out other opinions . Prayers for strength and relief!

Good suggestion Bubbie I could not had said it any better. It's sometime's a good time for that second opinion. Fibromyalgia is real.

    Hi

Any allergies .do u use drinks with aspartame

What about processed foods ? Milk and dairy . Try getting rid of those things . They cause

    Headaches and body aches .

Also my son had headaches and steamers and hot tubs would relieve it too .dr put him on levofloxaacin 750 for one month and it's helping

He also suggested that he might need that balloon in your sinuses to stretch them so it would help drain to prevent headaches . We've been dealing with this stuff for over two years and this is the only thing that has helped .his name is Jared to lol

    Hope it helps .
