Heel and ball of one foot puffy leading to uneven gait for high school distance runner.

Hello all,

For the past one year I have felt that one of my legs is longer than the other. This bothers me when running, walking, and even standing. Last September, I went to an orthopedist and he said that I have more callus under the ball and heel of my left foot than my right foot. This is likely because I had shin splints on my right leg leading me to put more weight on my left leg which led to a build up of callus (or whatever is on my foot). I do not think that this is callus however because it seems to be living skin, not dead skin buildup. It is a little bit puffy. I also think that the leg length imbalance has led to one calf being stronger than the other, and some hip discomfort. The reason that I do not think that it is a bone length discrepancy is because the "callus" is on the leg that feels longer.

I am a 17 year old male who runs 50-60 miles per week.

Below I have attached a photo of my feet.

Thank you!
