Hemithyroidectomy yesterday!

Hi, i had a diagnostic right sided Hemithyroidectomy yesterday following an ultrasound that showed vascularity and an inconclusive biopsy, wont know results for 2 weeks but was wondering about everyones experience of recovery for the next 2 weeks and what to expect!

My head and neck is still mostly numb from the Local Anaesthetic so im not looking forward to that wearing off lol.

Happy to share my experience of the Op and first 24 hours if it will help anyone, including pics if it wont put anyone off!! xx
