Hi what are my chances

i had the gastric band fitted privately 15 years ago, i initially lost 7 stone which was fantastic, I then gained most of my weight back and my GP sent me through the nhs for a x-ray and fill, when I got home i couldn't keep water down , they have now said that the bands slipped and I need it removed, i asked if I could possibly hAve a sleeve at the same time and luckily it's been approved, the surgeon has said that it all depends on the condition of my stomach as to whether he just removes the band or goes on to also give me the sleeve, has anyone been through the same and what do you think my chances are of getting the sleeve thanks for reading my rather long post
