Hip MRI scan - what should I expect next?

Posted , 1 user is following.

I have been having left hip and leg pain for 10 months. Saw the GP in January, got referred to NHS physio, had 2 sessions and Covid lockdown kicked in. Physio gave me exercises to do which strengthened my leg but the hip pain didnt go. So had private MRI 10 days ago. The report said flattening of femoral head with intense marrow oedema and sclerosis, cam on head too. Appearance most likely due to AVN or Subchondral Insufficiency Fracture. Took this to the GP who has referred me to Orthopaedics at the local hospital. What should I expect next?
