How long does it take for the viens/varicocele to disapear after a varicocele embolization ?

i had a varicocele embolisation 1 week ago it was a quick and easy procedure. i had swelling that has gone down since the procedure but my left testicle is still slightly swollen which my IR radiologist said is normal. There has been some imporvement in the varicocele when looking at it from a standing position however the veins are still slightly visible and it feels heavy is this normal? do i have to wait longer to see if the procedure has worked? has a recurrance occured already or too early to tell ?
