How long does the intense anxiety from SSRI withdrawal last?!

If anyone has a positive story, I'd be so grateful! I'm off of sertraline for 3 months as of today. Have had lots of symptoms from withdrawal. Many are gone now and I'm grateful. I still have insomnia but it's improving. But as of 10 days ago, I started getting severe anxiety. Unlike anything I have ever experienced. And also very sad thoughts. And panic. This is withdrawal, I know. I'm wondering if you went through this, how long did it last? I know we're all different but I'm hoping to hear some positive stories. I don't want to go back on meds! But if this is going to last for months, I'll have no choice. I need to work and function. And this anxiety is unlike anything I have ever known.
