How to fight dementia - what really helps?

Hi, everybody!

I would love to share experience from my family and at least some parts of it are positive.

My mom was diagnosed dementia so early, she was 58. We were all scared to death. Seven sisters and one brother, can you imagine...

But this was not all. We found out that our family carries a kind of gene which makes it present within the family. Some of us have been diagnosed, myself - luckily not.

So, some of my sisters and relatives were doomed to get it and here is our experience what can really help:

  1. Be brave. I really feel that if you are scared and depressed - it gets you faster. Stay positive! My brother was, for example, always down, he got it fast and he died. My sister Kat is always cheerful and she is the best among all of us, although she has this gene.
  2. Eat healthy! And i dont think that those extreme vegan or some superexpensive strategies work. No, eat food from local markets and without preservatives. I am completely sure that this is linked to garbage that we eat every day.
  3. Luckily, medicine is progressing. My family and many their peers patients are using modern diagnostic tests and also advice to suggest you what is the best for you (there are tests which can measure what you need to take in precise dosage for dementia). One of the tests I know it helps is Check my brain, they make it from your hair. My sister got it in Amsterdam and now you can buy it online. It really works.
  4. Do regular check ups! So many people complain but do not go to specialists. I also believe that as earlier you are diagnosed, you can help yourself better!

I hope this helps!

And dont forget, stay positive!

I would love to hear your experience - what helps....
