HRT side effects

Hello. I have been on 0.05 estradoil patch ( the dot), and 100 mg progesterone. At first, I was amazing, like the first week. I started at the beginning of July. Then, a few crisis happened, stress at work, we had to put our dog down and all of a sudden, I was riddled with anxiety, shaking inside and health anxiety came all back into my life. So, I reached out to the doctor. She did up the patch to 0.75, without even telling me she put the order in. I seen she did, and in her response, she wanted blood work. So I did the blood work and the prescription for the patch was filled. I lasted about a week on the patch, and took it off on a Monday. And I went back to the lower dose patch on Wednesday. About a little over a week into this, I started bleeding. I also have muscle weakness in my arms. Anxiety, fear, muscle twitches. I am a nurse and am so afraid I have something horrible. Now my estradoil was 127, and this was on the lower lose, I did this lab work before I put the higher dose on. My FSH was 37.5. Anyone, please help. I am so afraid. It is ruining my life. I am full of anxiety and I have a neuro appt in two weeks, and endocrine in October. PLEASE LADIES, HELP ME.

Hello. I just want to tell you that I have gone through a year or more of health anxiety. It is hell. I understand how you feel and have complete empathy for you with this. The problem is we panic over everything big or small. I also am not dismissing the trauma this is having on your body. The way you have describe it is exactly how I am. I have fibromyalgia and managed well to keep it from getting me down and worked and played with it until a year and a half ago. Some very traumatic events spun me out of control and ended up as you are now. I have seen and been to every specialist and had every scan you could think of. The anxiety and fear of dying was a all day every day thing. I have been so unwell. That panic takes it's toll on your body and mind. I started on two things at once. 375 estrogen patch and 200mg progesterone. Also 5mg amitripyline. About 6 weeks ago. Things improved. My anxiety wasn't as crippling. I could get through a day without it been hell. Not perfect but better. After 5 weeks I started to get severe abdominal pain. It felt like my endometriosis was back. Bare in mind I'm 57 and haven't had a period in 8 years. Pain is so bad the menopause clinic have said to stop hrt altogether from today after only

6 weeks . I am very disappointed as I was hoping it would help with body issues like chronic uti's. I suffer like you and so many with health anxiety. I resisted the help of amitripyline for so long.

It is now very much used for nerve pain which I have due to fibromyalgia. Its not ideal but I couldn't keep going the way I was. The nerve pain has settled a bit and that has helped me cope. There is another version called nortriptyline I'm not suggesting you take it but perhaps you could put across to your Dr or someone who could help about illness anxiety. It's a very real concern for us and is scary. Just to say. I have been told by every specialist that my body is in good health that didn't help me though. I have to work hard through meditation on you tube and concealing to get a hold of it. I don't know if any of this is of any help and yes you should always check medically. I just couldn't ignore your plea for help. Other people have helped me. Please keep talking and never be afraid to ask for help. That's coming from someone, me, who didn't know how to ask. I think I've rambled but I hope it helps.

I don't check on here to often but if you want to ask any questions about what I have written please do. I will check. I wish the very best.
