HSP concerns

Hello all. My son was diagnosed with HSP 5 days ago, started with initial swelling on the ankles and rash in the same area. Took him to the hospital and told to rest, and things started calming down. Now he has a lump of swelling on his Lumbar and the rash has intensified. Struggles to stand up, hes a little trooper and doesnt complain which doesnt help effectively understanding just how much pain he is in. Ive read a few posts on here about pediatric rheumatologist/steroids. Obviously a very worried and concerned parent, Ive been advised to seek advice on forums so here I am! My question is should I seek out the ologist? Has anyone else experienced this with their little champions and what did you do to combat/treat it? he is 5 years old. Thank you for your time.
