Hyperthyroidism and elevated calcium level

Posted , 4 users are following.

I would like to hear if anyone had any of the following symptoms while waiting to be diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I had severe constipation and unable to eat any solid foods for 4 weeks. I had no appetite and felt extremely dehydrated. The worst was the anxiety and panic attacks I've had over the course of 4 weeks. I was diagnosed having ulcer by GI doctor who saw me. Also, l'm fatigued and overall not feeling well. can anyone relate? I would like to know I'm not alone in the way I'm feeling.

    Hello,

I had elevated calcium levels with parathyroidism, and suffered similar symptoms to yours. The advice was to drink at least 2 litres of water daily. This helped to flush out the excess calcium in the blood and the symptoms were much less pronounced. Keep drinking!
