Hysterectomy

Hi im 44 years of age and i was tested positive for carrying the braca gene after losing my mum through ovarian cancer, i decided to have preventative surgery and had a full hysterectomy along side a double masterctomy and was put on the patches due to my age (Everol 50) i have been on them for 1 year.

I was wondering if anyone out ther has had the same experiance as me, i train at least 4/5 times a week have a good balanced diet, but i have found my weight had gone up and i cant shift it no matter how hard i try. has anyone else put weight on with the patches ?

this week i have decided to come off the patches and see how i go for a few weeks and weigh myself then, i have started to experiance the hot flushes at nite but they are bearable at the min.
