Hysterectomy experiences - personal questions

I'm due to have a total hysterectomy in a couple months and feeling undecided. I keep changing my mind.

I have a large fibroid causing issues.

I'm not so much worried about the operation itself but more about living without my cervix fallopian tubes and uterus afterwards. I was wondering if there was anyone who has had this procedure a few years ago that would share their experiences living without their uterus etc.

Did you go into an early menopause (even though you kept your ovaries?)

Does anyone regret doing this and why?
