I get semi random cramps in my left leg mainly

I didn't get up to much while Covid-19 had the country locked down, plus Ive been studing the last for years so my overall physical activity hasn't been the best.

The last 3 - 5 months or so I've been trying to get back into shape, going out walking more. Doing hiking, overall exploreing as I like to take pictures in my free time.

The odd time when id be out walking id experience leg cramps but they seemed reasonable as Im out of shape, im around 15kg over weight and the walking is a good distance or up hill.

I started a new job recently and I have to walk around 2km to work. Some days its fine other days i get really bad cramps mainly in my left leg, i can barely walk on it. The cramps do go away after around 10 - 15 minutes of resting. I just dont understand why I suffer from this in the mornings but when I got on a long walk in the day im gernally fine?

In my searching i have come across PAT but im in my mid 20s and my leg cramps seem to be pretty random bar in the mornings and I only get pain in my calve no other pains in the rest of my leg.

I will also add that its my left leg that get the pain and it is my "bad" leg it has a lot less muscle then my right leg but its generally always been like that.

Cramps happen more for some than for others. Best thing to do is stretch your limbs and exercise more often.
