I have a question regarding symptoms and Hip Replacement.

I have had several surgeries from an auto accident in 2004, I was starting to come around in 2013 and was in another auto accident. I've had so many MRI's, CTscans and others tests and it was determined it wasn't from my back. The pain is so bad that it keeps me from walking much and it keeps me up at night. The pain starts in my right groin and runs down the inside of my right leg to the toes. I've had an EMG test and the nerves were damaged in that leg, down in the ankle to the toes.
My question is, should I go and see an Orthopedic doctor. Are any of my signs similar to any one of you who has hip problems?
I hope someone in here can suggest anything or just tell me something that will help me.
I appreciate all input!
Thanking you,

I have been through many surgeries. And, I hope I've had my last.
I'm sorry you are experiencing such pain. But, with all my injuries from my car accident hip, pelvis , knee. I didn't have such pain as you are discribing. It does however, remind me of a friend of mine who gets Sciatica. Pain from her sciatic nerve. Look into it. I found many through Google.
Get well soon.

Wow, sounds like you've been through a lot. I'm so sorry to read that. I hope you're on the mend soon enough!
I also get sciatica pain from both accidents. I see a pain doctor for this relief. It helps but not for a long period of time. I'll take what I can for now
I appreciate you writing me. If you think of anything else, please keep in touch.
Warm wishes,

The thing is when muscles are damaged the brain finds other muscles to work instead and everything gets thrown into sort of chaos. Then you get the deferred pain and it's hard to diagnose what's causing what.
Have you seen an osteopath or Physio? They could advice. What does your GP suggest as presume he would make the referral
Good luck

Thank you for your response. I'm in the process of getting a new GP and I'm getting most my information from my pain doctor who I trust will my life and he also suggests to go see an orthopedic doctor. Problem is, none will see you unless you get a referral from the auto insurance because if it's not related to the accident, they won't pay. My question is, how are they supposed to know if it's from an accident unless a specialist sees me, dah it's a no brainer to me
I'll see what my lawyer suggests as he's the one telling me to also go see an ortho doc.
Again, thank you,

It is the groin pain you are experiencing that is familiar to me, who has had three hip replacement surgeries. So sorry for your rotten luck in having two car crashes. Hang in there and let us know how you progress.
