I want to stop zyprexa @.78 mg and need to know if that’s a low enough dose

wanting to hear from anybody else who has been on zyprexa and managed to stay off it. i have been tapering 3% every two weeks and now just want to get off. Please can anybody who knows anything about this awful drug give me some advice. i am currently at a dose of .78 mg and want to quit at this dose. Desperate for help,please.

    Hi Sabi,

    I don't have an answer for you about whether you can stop at 0.78mg but I thought that my tapering experience might be helpful. I was taking 2.5mg daily and have switched to 2.5mg every other day for the last 4 weeks. Yesterday, my psychiatrist told me that I can start switching to only 2.5 twice a week. After this, I think it will be possible to quit. Maybe instead of stopping cold turkey, you can follow a similar pattern (e.g. 0.78mg every other day). Let me know if this is helpful!
