IBS type symptoms after menopause?

Hello. I'm 6 weeks post TAH with BSO and am having some awful bowel issues. I was diagnosed with IBS in my late 20s (I'm now 52) but hadn't really had much in the way of problems for a long time. I'm 6 years post menopause buy the hysterectomy seems to have plunged me back into having full blown menopause symptoms. My bowels have been awful since the operation, first 2 weeks with awful constipation, as expected, now my stomach is noisy all the time and I'm having episodes of diarrhoea. Does this resonate with anyone else as I'm getting pretty worried. Thanks for taking the time to read.
