IBS with severe bloating and constipation

Hi everybody,

i have been suffering from a severe attack of what i presume is IBS C.

(I am 61 and have suffered from this condition since my early 30's with varying degrees of severity.

Flare ups can vary from lasting a few days to continuing for months at a time)

My symptoms are severe bloating,constipation and increasingly disturbed sleep patterns leading to extreme fatigue.

At it's most severe the condition can also bring on panic attacks.

i have visited numerous doctors and specialists,had all manner of tests carried out,tried many different medications and alternative therapies but usually with little effect.

I would be eager to know if there are others on this forum who may have experienced similar symptoms and who may have found any remedy that has helped.
