IIH or chronic headaches?

Hello, I am 22 years old and was admitted to hospital in November 2021 for intense headache, pressure behind the eyes, sensitivity to light and becoming confused and mixing my words up etc. I had CT and MRI which were all okay. Lumbar puncture with an opening pressure of 29 and had papilledema.

I have since seen opthlamology and they explained the papilledema has gone and the lumbar puncture must have worked.

I have seen neurology today and they have put me down as having chronic headaches and not IIH due to my opening pressure not being above 30.

I have all the symptoms of IIH for the past 10 years but only went to the doctors last year.

I have read about chronic headaches and i dont believe it is what I am experiencing. I have headaches everyday and extreme fatigued but the headaches get worse on occassions such as sleeping with less than 2 pillows etc.

I am thinking of calling my neurologist again to question why I am not being diagnosed with IIH but I am looking for some advice if possible please?

Thank you!
