Is there referred pain?

Hi all.

Just a quick question if I may.....is it possible for pain from the very bottom ribs to cause referred pain in the stomach?

I have been getting pain in the left hand side of my stomach, sort of like a stabbing pain... I have suffered with costo for over a year but usually in my chest and back. The past 4/6 weeks my bottom ribs are very painful to touch so I am wondering if the stabbing pain which seems to be felt a little further down again is referred pain?

The pain is where the blue circles are on the diagram below.
