Itching..😠

6 days post op mid uretha tape & posterior repair and my pubic area were they shaved is itching and driving me mad..as there are stitches there i cant scratch..please does anybody know wat i can use to relieve this..xx

    Oh dear you poor thing. Use a baby cream that you would use on a nappy rash on Bub. Why did they shave you? Very unusual these days.

      Hi Robyn thanku for replyin ive put some sudocrem around the area so hopes thats ok as it seems to be easin a little and as to bein shaved i dont no why its jus somethin my surgeon said he wd do think mayb it makes it easier wen doin the incisions ect x

    Did you have a Urogynaecologist so your op's? Anterior and Posterior repairs? They don't tend to hardly ever shave pre-op anymore as this opens up avenues for infection, so watch your itch closely for any signs of infection.
