just a small dark spot

I wasn't sure what board to put this on because I have no idea what this even is. Sorry if this is the wrong board. I have a small dark bump under the skin on the joint of my middle finger on my left hand. It's been there for a while but I don't remember how long. It was really small when I first noticed it and it's gotten a little bigger and a little more prominent. It doesn't hurt and I don't think it's hard. You can feel it's there but it's not like marble hard. It's a bit darker than it looks in picture. I was just wondering if anyone has any idea what this could be?
