Kidney STone

I'm a 73 year old women. I've had upper back pain for over a week, going from my ribs all the way across my upper back. I also have a charlie horse like pain in the calf of my left leg. Was checked for blood clots, then had abdominal ultrasound yesterday and they found a 7mm kidney stone in my left kidney. Could the above symptoms be from the stone? The back pain seems so high( right above where my bra fastens and the leg pain seems out of order!! Right now I just lay on a heat pad to help with the back aches, hoping that when the stone gets removed, that pain will go away. No problem urinating or any pain in stomach area, just back and leg. Thanks for any comments.
