Large heterogeneous mass measuring 3 cm centrally located in uterus

uterus is overal within normal size for post menopausal woman

there are multiple cystic spaces present

scan states endometrial malignancy should be excluded

my Dr ordered a uterine biopsy

confused to what this means?? any input is appreciated

    I'm not a doctor, but I know that endometrial biopsy is a very common procedure, and most doctors will perform it as a precaution just for about any symptom because endometrial cancer is hard to diagnose. Ask your doctor what is the possibility of positive diagnosis, I bet he will tell you it's very low but better be safe than sorry. It takes about 5 min and you only feel a pinch.
