Leg, facial and hand twitching

I use to get the odd nerve twitch in my face, legs and hands. In the last year it has been constant.  My dr. said it's nothing but I can barely write or hold anything because the twitching in my hand has become so violent ( I burnt my arm very bad because I twitched with a pot in my hand and it fell) The leg twitches are in my calves ( left side is worse and the muscle is gone all floppy on that side) The facial twitches are in my eye, nose and lower jaw.  This has been going on for a year and it is every single day and night non-stop.  I have many medical conditions and a few I think I may have but my dr. refuses to test me or send me to a specialist for my other medical condtions.  I know I need a new dr. but it is so hard to find one especially with the medications I'm on.

I forgot to mention that I have also been getting nerve twitching inside my abdomin ( you can see it almost looks like a baby kicking inside, can be painful at times. No there is no way I can be pregnant...I have not been sexually active in 10 years )

You must move doctors for sake of your heaLtd or be more persistent.I would ask for blood coagulation tests.I was like you and had lots of tests new was eventually diagnosed with APS = Antiphosphilipid syndrome or sticky blood.luckily I hadn't had stroke etc but it is in my brain and am now on wayfaring.

It's just a thought but your symptoms were like mine and I still walk with jerk sometimes.

You must see a different doctor or be more persistent.I had symptoms like yours and after many tests a anti coagulant test revealed I have sticky blood.luckily I haven't had stroke etc but it is in my brain.technical name is APS=Antiphosphilipid syndrome.I used to jerk when walking too but only do that sometimes.am now on warfarin

It doesn't matter how many medications you are on things should be dealt with

I do the jerking thing when falling asleep and walking and I can't stand for the first 20 minutes because my legs will not hold me up.  I am on blood pressure meds ( it's still a little high but not like it was)
