Lipase levels how soon it gets dropped in Acute Pancreatitis

Hi Friends,

I was diagnosed with Acute pancreatitis with lipase levels 490 then 465 during admission and in 1.5 day it became normal (28 and then 42) and remains normal up to date. The doctors now feel that it is not Pancreatitis, but I have gastric pains since 3 weeks. Friends let me know when your lipase level became normal after suspected for Acute Pancreatitis?

    Hi,

    The first time i was diagnosed with pancreatitis my Lipase count was 3500. My count was back to normal in 2 days when it was rechecked. I was on a pure liquid diet.
