Lisinopril or Amlodipine

I have had a full body rash/redness with incredibly dry skin and fluid retention for over three months now, and my doctor gives me nothing but antihistamines and creams, plus an occasional dose of steroid tablets to clear it up for a week or two before it returns again.

If this is an allergy I have stopped and started all kind of foods etc. and made no difference, but am starting to wonder if this may be caused by a reaction to the Lisinopril tablet that I have been taking for 10 years or more, or Amolodipine.

Does anybody know if it's possible to develop a drug allergy after using for several years?

Am waiting for a dermatologist hospital appointment, but could be a long time yet! Will probably end up paying privately.
