Lumps. bumps. thinness and misinformed nails.

So, here we go again! (NO it is not heart, kidney or VD) 🙂

18 months ago ridges formed along all of my toes and fingers. The cuticles swelled up turned red and a lump formed just at the end of the cuticle on each finger.

Eventually the fingernails all went very thin, very lumpy and cracked and shattered. Meanwhile each nail looked like a map of the moon.... ridges, bumps and shallow thinner plains.

My toes never got as bad but they all had ridges.

I went to the doctor... she was fascinated. Told me she would need to consult and I never heard from her for three months. I contacted her again and she said she must do something... never heard from her again.

After a year, yes a year, the nails started (only started) to get back to normal. Last month I thought it was all over and then I saw this starting again...

I suspect the bad bots of athletes foot I had when i was younger have a part in this as I still, even at 70, have a mild form of psoriasis appear form time to time which is killed quickly with 2% hydrocortisone.

The nails are nowhere near as bad as they were during this last year... so off we go again!... to where?
